*Scott Stringer Manhattan's Borough President, who has been a supporter of the GELL project, has pioneered community greening projects throughout Manhattan during his time in office. Scott Stringer will be attending and participating in Futurehood!

* Tom Szaky, Founder and CEO of Terracycle, Inc., the first company to produce from 100% reused and recycled product, will be speaking at the October 4th Block Party.
*Donald Loggins, Member of the Green Guerillas and the Liz Christy Community Garden since the inception of both groups in1973. He is currently active in photographing community gardens and documenting the history of the community garden movement. Donald Loggins will give tours of surrounding community gardens to explore the wider context for the creation of green spaces in the community.
*Mikey Palms, owner of Southpaw music venue in Brooklyn will be providing stage setup and curating musicians.
